funny how i am not bitter at all about this. just extremely upset. am fed up feeling like this and it's not even been a week. i know sophian (now my ex) feels shit aswell and he's admitted he still loves me. not sure if that makes me feel better or worse. i just want him back. we also now have a 'pact': if we're not married at 30, we'll marry each other.

Clarissa, I hope you are feeling a bit better now. It's very difficult to stop thinking. I find that trying to think of as many other things as possible by keeping yourself busy, maybe meeting new people (just as friends?), works best for me. Take it easy. And keep your head up!

i seem to be missing out on all these BBQs, so am having my own here in spain tonight. anyone in marbella by chance?
spent today in gibraltar. walked all the way to the top of the rock, then climbed down the back side on 'mediteranean steps' which aren't really proper steps at all anymore. i don't think i have ever experienced such heat before! got jumped on and chased by monkeys and they nearly nicked my sunglasses. then one of the baby monkeys held on to my finger and refused to let go. we also saw lizards and geckos and snakes. it was a great day, much better than expected and if you ever have the chance to go there, then go. hope everyone is enjoying the summer!
Ooooo....I need to get one of those. Is it good? May get the rough guide instead and then we can compare notes...

hier kann man sich auch nur wundern! Hab diese woche mit einem auslandssemester in schweden begonnen. stockholm rules! macht wirklich viel spass hier mit vielen lustigen leuten aus der ganzen welt nur leider leider keine engländer. wie ich sie vermisse!
muesst ihr alle jetzt schon arbeiten? ich fröhne noch zwei jahren dem muesigen sudentenleben...

Where the hell did that tree hugging comment come from? Went scuba diving today, it was great. And for the record, I do love being happy. As for hugging trees, I haven't reached that stage yet but watch this space.

James, I'm back on Friday because my graduation ceremony is next week, but the others are staying a little longer.
Die ungemein fleißigen, ordentlichen und allen guten deutschen tugenden wie sauffestigkeit entsprechenden deutschen studenten studieren schon seit tagen, liebe kati! zumindest wenn sie nicht in deutschland sind... hier in stockholm ist es wirklich wunderschön! Eine richtig hübsche stadt und vor allem eine sehr, sehr coole atmosphäre unter den austauschstudenten. ich kann euch wirklich nur empfehlen, wenn ihr die möglichkeit für ein austauschsemester habt, dann greift zu. hanna, you will love it!
Hab im Juni im roten meer gescuba snorkelt. Fast so cool wie diving, vor allem wenn so wie bei uns glückskinder ein paar delphine mitschwimmen.
Ich hoffe eure ominösen pläne betreffen einen überaschungsbesuch bei mir in schweden, hanna, kati...! besucht mich! besucht mich! you´ll like it!
